Cat Kabira
Topic: Practice grounding to create safety in your body and mind
I have always been highly sensitive and experienced trauma when I was young – physical, sexual, and emotional abuse as well as loss. I had anorexia and bulimia starting at the age of 9. By the age of 17 I was determined to heal and found meditation which felt like a way to reclaim my power. For 20+ years I studied and trained in the healing arts, movement, yoga, and shamanic arts as well as a spiritual psychologist and somatic experiencing practitioner. I started teaching yoga and energetic arts in 2002 and this love affair has taken me all over the globe while having my base in Bali. What I share now is my own integration and continued learning of how to meet our pain, how to thrive, how to enjoy our sensitivity, how to trust ourselves, and how to truly be who we came here to be. As Sartre says, “Freedom is what you do with what’s been done to you.” I look forward to meeting you online or in-person somewhere on the globe.
